Factions and Deputy Groups in the Majlisi Namoyandagon

The deputies of the Majlisi Namoyandagon have the right to form factions and groups in order to jointly express their political views as well as to realize their pre-election programs and aims.

As the result of parliamentary elections held on February 28, 2010 representatives of five political parties of Tajikistan were elected as the deputies of the Majlisi Namioyandagon.

From among the deputies of the Majlisi Namoyandagon 45 are members of the People Democratic Party of Tajikistan, 2 deputies are members of the Communist Party of Tajikistan, 2 deputies are the members of the Islamic Revival Party of Tajikistan, 2 deputies are the members of the Agrarian Party of Tajikistan and 2 deputies are the members of the Economic Reform Party of Tajikistan. 10 deputies are not belonging to any party.

Structure of the Majlisi Namoyandagon

The Majlisi Namoyandagon shall set up committees and commissions comprised of deputies. The Majlisi Namoyandagon can set up temporary commissions to resolve separate issues.

The Majlisi Namoyandagon consists of the following standing committees and commissions:

·        The Committee on Economy and Finance;

·        The Committee on Legislation and Human Rights;

·        The Committee on Law, Order, Defense and Security;

·        The Committee on Agrarian Issues and Ecology;

·        The Committee on International Affairs, Public Associations and Information;

·        The Committee on Science, Education, Culture and Youth Policy; 

·        The Committee on Social Issues, Family and Healthcare;

·        The Committee on State Structures and Local Self-Governance;

·        The Committee on Power Engineering, Industry, Construction and Communication;

·        The Commission of Control of Guidelines and Organization of Work;

·        The Commission on Deputy Ethics of the Majlisi Namoyandagon.

The concrete competence of the committees and commissions is determined by the Regulation of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan.

Miraliev Amirsho

  Deputy of Majlisi Namoyandagon of Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan from the republican single mandate constituency (from People Democratic Party of Tajkistan).  

Gafforova Nazira

Deputy of Majlisi Namoyandagon of Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan from Bobojon Ghafurov constituency, No. 14.

      Born on 24 March 1961 in Bobojon Ghafurov  district of Suhd region of the Republic of Tajikistan, Tajik by nationality.

Graduated from the law faculty of National University of Tajikistan, candidate of legal sciences.  Author of more than 50 scientific and methodological- educational recommendations.

     Employment:  senior researcher of chair of “ Criminal law and crime detection” of National University of Tajikistan, lawyer of  lawyer’s Bar of Chkalovsk city, Head of chair of law faculty of Kjuand State University, head of chair and dean of law faculty of University of Law, business and politology, Chairwoman of Committee on women and family affairs of Sughd region, Rector of Training Institute for  civil servant under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan. He has passed skill  improvement courses in Academy of State service under the President of Russian Federation and Academy of State Management under the President of Kazakhstan. 

On 16 March 2010 in first session of Majlisi Namoyandagon of fourth convocation she was elected Deputy Chairman of Majlisi Namoyndagon of Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan and Members of Council of Majlisi Namoyndagon of Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan.

Member of Fraction of People Democratic Party of Tajikistan in Majlisi Namoyndagon of Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan.

 Exemplary worker of education, holder of Diploma of Committee on women and family affairs under the Government of Republic of Tajikistan and Diploma of State Service Department under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan.

Married, has four children.

Shabozov Mirgand

                         Deputy of Majlisi Namoyandagon of Majlis Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan from Khorog  constituency, No. 41.Born on 6 June 1952 in Shugnon district of Badakhshon Mountainous Autonomous Region of the Republic of Tajikistan, Tajik by nationality.

Graduated from the  mechanic and mathematics faculty of National University of Tajikistan, professor, doctor  of  mathematics and physics sciences, Academician of Academy of Science of Tajikistan.

Employment: assistant, senior lecturer, associate professor of chair mathematic analyses of the National University of Tajikistan, post-graduate student for doctor degree of Institute of Mathematics of Ukraine Academy of Science (Kiev city), professor of chair mathematic analyses of the National University of Tajikistan, Rector of State University of Khorog and Chairman of State Statistic Committee under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.  

On 16 March 2010 in first session of Majlisi Namoyandagon of fourth convocation she was elected Deputy Chairman of Majlisi Namoyndagon of Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan and Members of Council of Majlisi Namoyndagon of Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan.
