Zuhurov Shukurjon on 16 April 1954 in Pianj district of Khatlon region of the Republic of Tajikistan, Tajik by nationality. Graduated from Academy of management of Russian Federation and Moscow University of Engineering and Geodesy with profession of engineer- geodesist. 

  Employment: engineer-geodesist of current Hamadoni disrtcit of Khatlon region, head of      department of usage of land and geodesy of Executive Committee of people deputies of former Kurgan-Tube region, instructor, head of section and Secretary of Young Communist League (Comsomol) of Tajikistan, Chairman of Executive Committee of people deputies of     Comsomolobod (currently Nurobod) district, Chairman of State Committee for Labour and       training of workers of the Republic of Tajikistan, head of department of employment and social protection of President Administration Office, Chairman of Pianj district of Khatlon region, Deputy Head of President Administration Office and Minister of Labour and Employment of the Republic of Tajikistan.

  Mr Zuhurov Sh. participated in all rounds of inter-Tajik peace negotiations and he was head of the Government delegation during two first rounds (Moscow, Tehran) and deputy head of delegation during all other rounds. From 1997 to 2000 by President decree he was appointed Chairman of sub-commission of Commission on National Reconciliation on refugees issues. At the same time, from 1998 to 2000 he was Coordinator of Centre for post-war rehabilitation projects. Deputy Majlisi Oli (Parliament) of the Republic of Tajikistan of first convocation (1995-2000).

   Mr Zuhurov’s works have been awarded with order “Dusti”, “Sharaf” and medal and diplomas of thje Presidium of the Supreme Council of Soviet Socialist Republic of Tajikistan. Mariied, has five children.
