Born on 24 March 1955 in Soviet district (current Temurmalik) of Khatlon region, Republic of Tajikistan, Tajik by nationality. He graduated from faculty of economy of the National University of Tajikistan.

Member of Majlisi Namoyandagon of Majlisi Oli of second convocation (2000 – 2005) and third convocation (2005 - 2010). Member of the Committee of Majlisi Namoyandagon on economy and finance. Member of the Committee of Majlisi Namoyandagon on control over regulation and organization of activities. Member of the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly of CIS countries.
Married, has 4 children.
19/03/2014 Tajik President Emomali Rahmon has submitted a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on the project aiming at upgrading the Golovnaya hydroelectric power plant (HPP) signed between the Government of Tajikistan and Asian Development (ADB) for ratification to Tajikistan’s lower house (Majlisi Namoyandagon) of parliament, Sharofiddin Sirojov, the member of the Majlisi Namoyandagon Committee on Finance and Economic Affairs.
